Cazador St. structural steel

The foundations were poured last Friday on a sunny LA day. It took three trucks to fill
the 7 pile holes, and was all over in only a few hours.
D&L construction are building the foundations and the framing of the house and we cannot say enough
good things about them!

Work on the steel cages was finished last week. They will be used to reinforce the concrete columns.

Drilling started this morning on the piles for the house & will be completed this afternoon…one of the advantages of having a house with a small footprint!

We just broke ground this week on a new house in Mt Washington, Los Angeles. It’s been almost 2 years of planning and designing to get to this point, so all in all rather satisfying.

We’ve been working on this design for a while now and we just heard that it’s going ahead. It’s our first public space proposal. Look for it in the front courtyard/gallery of Materials and Applications Silverlake towards the end of 2010. There are more details about the design on our web site so please visit there to save me from repeating myself. Thanks!

We just started work this week on a new single family house for a British actor. The site is located in Echo Park in Los Angeles and has views of the San Gabriel mountains, Mount Washington and Glendale. As schematic design comes together we’ll add more images to the news…

We’re breaking ground on our project in Sunland – a new single family house with a detached garage, playhouse and a pool. Joseph Quizon is our contractor.
